More snow overnight, but this time turning to slush in slightly warmer air and easy to dispose of.   In fact a pleasant morning with plenty of sunshine and in the absence of much wind feeling warmer.   We had an almost unopposed run down the remainder of the Cheshire Locks, only meeting a couple of boats at the end and in favourable circumstances.  Pat nipped off at Wheelock to visit the local convenience store and we pressed on into deteriorating weather, finally having had enough once continuous rain had set in.
