Back on the boat after a weekend interlude we have moved to Hawkesbury Junction on a chilly overcast day. A contrast to yesterday's sunshine. I have been waiting for an opportunity to paint the boat roof. This has been put off for two years now mainly it has to be said because the opportunity or the conditions were not there or not right. It is really all about trying to keep the rust at bay and the black patches where spot preventative treatment has been carried out are threatening to cover the whole roof. Today was an opportunity, not sunny and hopefully little chance of rain showers. Being on the move day to day means that the roof can only be painted in sections, so here's today's effort.
