Having moored on the Coventry we first needed to make the 180 turn onto the Oxford Canal which I messed up slightly by starting the turn about 18 inches too soon. One likes to do it in one! Thence it was all straightforward to Easenhall Lane Bridge where there were works in progress and a delay of an hour. Contractors had installed some sheet piling on the southern offside foot of the bridge and were awaiting concrete delivery from the road above to backfill behind. Then off again. Brinklow Marina is a windy place being situated with fine views across the loacal landscape with no shelter and the wind certainly didn't disappoint this time. However it was blowing more or less straight down the mooring jetties so once the turn was made getting back in was not too difficult.
