Coventry Canal:Atherstone

First a water stop.  That was just a 5 minute cruise across the canal.   Then on to the Coventry Canal which we will traverse over the next three days.   It started to rain properly and thus it continued until completely sodden we reached Atherstone where we are planned to stop for the night.   Had I known it was going to rain all day I would have put my serious yachty rain clothing on beforehand.  This is not a casual decision but once taken has the magical effect of stopping rain from falling, or so it has turned out.   Needless to say the stove is working overtime.
