A day spent doing not a lot. We did find the laundrette on Red Lion Street and the large ASDA on the other side of the bridge, so some re-provisioning took place. Tomorrow the journey continues. Torksey on Thursday for Friday departure. A chat with the lockie at Torksey revealed that I had misunderstood the timing versus tides for leaving there to go downstream to Keadby and we will be on springs. Apparently its about an Hour into the flood, but I'll leave it to him to tell us when to go. That works out safest.
