Yesterday we were Locked out at Selby at 9:20 on a spring tide. A very helpful lock-keeper gave us a good briefing both for leaving and returning. Lots of flotsam but avoidable. Without pushing it our max speed over ground reached 9 mph initially. Arrived at Naburn 12:00. Stopped here overnight on good moorings.
