Grove Lock

Off again at 6:50.  Coming up the lock flight we passed a newly refurbished hotel boat being ferried north.  The two man crew were unhappy that the refit had done away with the gunwales in at attempt to gain more interior room.   They said that it made operating the boat very difficult.   On from Stoke Bruerne locks it was a miserable day, dark, overcast and misty.   Around Fenny Compton it started to rain.  Seing no reason to stop in Leighton Buzzard we carried on to Grove Lock and joined a solitary boat at the top visitor moorings.
