After a quiet night we left early at 6:50. Mostly just a day of cruising. 3 hours and 20 minutes later we were at Hawksbury Junction and I was pleased with myself for making the difficult 180 degree turn onto the North Oxford Canal in one go only to be surprised again by the existence of the stop lock. We stopped at Rugby for a visit to Tesco, and carried on to the visitor moorings on the approach in to Braunston. Again another good supper from the resident chef! Chicken fajitas and salad washed down with a Chilean red, "Fundo los Naranjas" 2004. There was a stunning sunset with the low sun shining on the church tower through the rain, backed by a rainbow.
