A few images taken over a week of work undertaken on the Welsh Highland Railway in October 2007. The Welsh Highland Railway, closed in 1937, is being rebuilt. It will run from Caernarfon to Porthmadog linking up there with the world renowned Ffestiniog Railway. Whilst the civil engineering involved is in the hands of contractors, all the tracklaying is done by volunteers. Pat and I number among those and this is a small pictorial record of our experiences.
