The Thames Ring is a circular route incorporating the Regents Canal, the River Thames and the Grand Union Canal. The Regents Canal takes you through Regents Park (actually through the Zoo), Camden, Islington and Hackney down to Limehouse Basin. From there the tidal River Thames takes you through the heart of London, Putney, Hammersmith and Kew to the Grand Union Canal entrance at Brentford. The canal rises up through the Hanwell flight of locks and joins the Paddington Arm at Bulls Bridge which will take you back to complete the circle at Little venice.
