Introduction
Gemma and Sam joined Michael for a short weekend break in Mid Wales. From our base we visited the Ffestiniog Railway and saw some of the construction work going on on the Welsh Highland Railway. There was also time for a very pleasant, if but strenous at times, walk along the nearby hill tops overlooking the Dyfi Estuary.
